The company Operátor ICT will continue to publish contracts in the Register of Contracts despite law changes (24 February 2017)

The company Operátor ICT will continue to publish contracts in the Register of Contracts. The Board of Directors has accommodated the demands of Radomír Nepil (ANO), Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and although there is no legal duty to do so, the company will continue to publish all its contracts as it did before.

The Chamber of Deputies has approved an amendment to the Register of Contracts stating that business corporations established for business where the state or its regions hold a majority do not have to publish contracts with financial performance above CZK 50,000.00. This also relates to municipal enterprises, including the company Operátor ICT.

Radomír Nepil (ANO), Chairman of the Supervisory Board, has instantly asked the Board of Directors of OICT to continue to publish its contracts even if the proposed amendment is approved by the Senate.

We pride ourselves on the maximum transparency of our company and although there is no duty to publish contracts any more, I have asked our Board of Directors to continue in doing so,“ says Radomír Nepil (ANO), Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company Operátor ICT.

Such action complies with company’s Code of Ethics and so the Board has accommodated Nepil’s demand unanimously.
