CURRICULUM VITAE
Matej is a graduate of the Masaryk University Faculty of Law. At the same university, he also graduated from the programme of European Studies. Then Matej completed his doctoral studies at the University of Economics, Prague.
Matej started working for OICT in the position of the Project Management and Funds Section Director in October 2019. In May 2020 he was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board. He managed this role until October 2022. Now his primary focus is economical developement of the company. Aside from managing the company, in OICT he focuses on the Smart City agenda and project management of big IT projects. Besides OICT he has also worked or works in supervisory bodies of other companies (PRE Group, SNEO, a.s.). Before that, he has worked in different managerial positions, for example for the Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank or Czech Television. He dealt with the IT and eGovernment areas even outside of OICT within his work for the Czech Post. In a part of his career, he also worked in the legal area and consultancy.
Matej Šandor speaks fluent English (C1) and in a basic range he can communicate in Russian (A1) and French (A1).
