SERVICE DESK FOR PRAGUE CITY HALL

The company Operátor ICT is preparing administration of a shared service center for Prague City Hall. The project aims at reaching substantial savings during coordination of provided external services and coverage of the continuously growing demand for qualified support in IT, communication and services.

The first stage should support:

  • Troubleshooting and operation support – IT
  • Troubleshooting and operation support – telecommunication services
  • Internal application administration

Service Desk operation will be verified in a pilot operation in the first half of 2017. Subsequently, the operation will be assessed and a plan for the gradual introduction of other services will be made, such as for example:

  • Recording and administration of estates – inventory taking of hardware, software, office equipment
  • Support for security department demands – cybernetic, informational, physical
  • Operation support and service monitoring – data centres
  • Administrative support for the staff education system

Office services – fixed telephony, photocopiers and printers, office equipment
